Sunday School

Sunday school begins at 9:30am and ends at 10:15am before the Church service. Sunday school classes are offered for children from age 3 through adults.

Currently we have classes for 3-4 year olds, kindergarten – 2nd grade, 3th-5th grade, Middle School, and High School.

The Adult Sunday School class is a place where individuals can study the scriptures and historical events that have shaped the Christian faith and other faiths. We believe that each member of the class is on a spiritual journey and each of us is at a different stage of that journey. Come join us as we struggle with our individual understandings of the meaning of being a follower of Jesus.

Additional Educational Opportunities

Adult educational forums are offered after the Church service and cover a wide range of topics from current social justice issues to spiritual practices.

The Progressive Christianity class meets on the first Thursday evening of each month for about 90 minutes.  We primarily use DVD-based resources from Living the Questions, which aims at helping people explore what a meaningful faith can look like in today’s world, utilizing interviews with and talks from leading progressive theologians and scholars.

Throughout the year, we offer book groups and small groups on a variety of topics. These are often held during the week. All are welcome to participate in these conversations.
